Paintball is such a game that needs to be played with tactics and techniques. You should be very well aware of your enemy’s strengths and weaknesses in order to capture the game. Along with this, you should also be aware of your own key points and weaknesses. You must work on your own flaws so that you don’t become an easy target for your enemies.

Other than this, it is crucial that your team has a solid attack and defense plan to conquer the game. Who has to be the sniper (leading shooter), the commencer (attack starter), should be decided before hand. These are just the basic strategies of your assault plan. Your team will need many more refined and super-assault tactics in order to win the paintball game.

Paintball is such a sport that brings out the creative instinct hiding inside you. Your battle plans should not be alternation proof when there is a need for one. If any mistake happens then you should be able to alter the plan to your advantage. It should be understood that a dedicated and amazing paintball player or leader knows the exact strategy that your opponent will use to counter your attack. You should be prepared for all types of reactions from your opponents. You should not get confused, shattered, shocked or nervous if the opponent uses some unknown technique. Flexibility is an essential part of playing paintball. Even if you are not the best shooter of your team, you should shoot the necessary shots when needed. Your team’s leader must understand each player’s strong and weak points while assigning tasks and positions. If any of your teammate falls then other team players should be able to carry out the job assigned to that player with grace.

While playing paintball games, good communication should be established between team players. You should be able establish a good bond with your fellow team players so that you can understand even the blink of their eye.

Making Use of Defensive Techniques in Paintball

This technique also helps in winning a paintball game. The opposite team can be prohibited from capturing the flag by using good defense techniques.

The game begins with both the teams have equal quantity of arms. Paintball game usually lasts for a very long time. Therefore, it is crucial for every team to make the most out of each shot. Players shouldn’t waste their shots or else they will be left without any ammunition at a crucial moment.

Spreading across a particular region is a great defensive technique irrespective of enemy’s direction. In case, any opposite team member is able to see any of your team member then a player having a clear vision of the enemy’s position must silence him.

If the team loses most of its members during the first few minutes of the game then the team must go back to the base and get reorganized. A boundary must be put in to restrict the opposite team from breaking the organized players of your team. Also, the boundary is essential for sending patrols in search of the enemy. 

In case, a patrolling player spots the enemy, then that player can throw the enemy out. Consider a situation, where a group of opponents is moving towards your base then the patrolling player must go and inform the group members for retaliating against the enemy with the equal amount of players. However, this plan can backfire if the players are not able get rid off of all the opponents and one of the opponents informs his base members about the site of your base.

In order to catch the enemy unaware your team members must be amazingly disguised and covered-up. As the guns have a restricted range, the time of fire is best when the opponents reach the “kill zone”. However, it should be taken into consideration that the shooting should be done before getting hit. 

At the time of the firefight the player’s position is exposed. When the enemy starts firing, you can still survive if you get proper cover.

In case, this is not possible then moving to a better region is a nice technique. This should be done by informing the other players so that they are able to provide proper cover.

In accordance to the figures collected by the American Sports Data Inc. survey, public participation in paintball games has overpowered public participation in snowboarding. Constantly increasing popularity of the paintball sport has made it the fourth largest alternative sport in America.

How To Make Retreating in a Paintball Game Your Winning Point

By suppressing the opposite team player, you can distract the player from seeing the invasion done by your team. Suppression does not mean striking out your enemies. Caution and attention is needed to stop any opposite team player from shooting.

If your team is trying to put in use the suppression technique, then it must have at least three players. Your team members must know that striking out the members of the other team is not your goal. Any move done while playing this game should be done with sheer accuracy and the aims should be lined up perfectly to ensure the non-alertness of the opponent. Suppression team players are not supposed to aim at a single target concurrently. This should be done to puzzle and confuse the enemy.

At the time of the assault, two or three of the suppression team members continuously engross one of the opposing team’s players for hiding his own team players that are about to intrude the competing team. The tactic of suppression is usually successful in concealing the team players and when done flawlessly destroys the opposite team totally. The opposite team members must retreat or else they will get eliminated.

The next role that the suppression team members have to assume is that of invading. It is very difficult for those team members who are invading as they must conceal themselves completely to avoid getting hit by the opposing team.

There is a need for endurance, control, and order for avoiding getting hit from the opposing team for retaining the position. It should be ensured that your one shot creates enough damage for the opposing team. Aiming at one player of the opposite team ins a minor or negligible way should be avoided and causing major damage should be the aim.

Paintball is a safe sport as long as the proper gear is worn during the game. It is not surprisingly even more safe than tennis where the players don’t wear anything to protect themselves. It was first introduced as a game of survival and combat. When it first began, there were no grenades, paintball mines or any other different styles and weapons that we have now.
There are a variety of tactics that can help you win the game. For example using paintball bunkers give you more efficiency and gives a lot of help during the game. These bunkers provide protection and concealment and is a great defense weapon.
Using Paintball Bunkers to your Advantage:

First of all, you need to be comfortable with the paintball marker that you are using. This can either be a motionless target you are aiming at or it can be a person from the opposing team. It can help you to divert others from making you their target and you can also get ore balls down the range.

Stay close behind the bunkers and you can use the snapshoot tactic against your opponent. The snapshoot tactic is waiting for your opponent so that they don’t know what your next move will be. When shooting paintballs, pop out once and take cover at once to wait for your opponent’s action. This practice needs to be honed and practiced to master the technique.

As you go along, you will also learn information about paintball that will tell you how to shoot from both sides of the bunker that you are hiding behind from. While you are being hidden behind the bunker, you can still shoot on both sides and stay unhurt. By doing this, you are able to create different angles at the same time.

While you are being barraged with paintballs, you should automatically know what to do with the information that you learned through practicing and you should be able to strike back effectively. Only come out of the bunk when you are ready to hit your target. Put your left knee forward and then shoot with your right hand. Do the opposite when shooting to your left .

The paintball bunker is one of the most highlighted aspect of the sport so knowledge on how to use this to your advantage is critical to your game. Be sure to familiarize yourself with how bunkers are placed in the field and before the game begins, know where to run for cover when you need it.

Do’s and Dont’s When Playing Paintball

Rules in Playing PaintballPaintball is certainly gaining popularity nowadays. While this was intended for fun, it now ranks as the third most popular sport in the world.

There are certain rules that we must follow in playing the game. It is important that we are equipped with the proper gear to protect us from the paintballs.

We must have a complete set of the protective gear and it should always be worn when you are in the playing field. You will need to have a face mask, gloves for your hands, pads for the chest, elbows and knees. In the event that a player is hit with a paintball, he must raise his hands to let everyone know especially the referee that he has been hit. If you’re not sure about it, you can ask the referee and he will confirm if you have been hit or not.

Before going out in the playing field, check your paintball gun. The maximum velocity allowed is only 300 feet per second and anything beyond that may cause serious injury to others. Like any other sport, we must always guard the safety not only of ourselves but our co-players. Barrel plugs should be used to avoid any incident that may lead to firing your gun accidentally and for the safety of all the people who are present in the game.

When a facemask fogs to due sweat, dirt or paint, the player must inform the referee so that he can be taken away from the filed to wipe his facemask or clean it. Do not stay on the field if you don’t have perfect visibility with your facemask. Call the referees attention so that you can be safely escorted out of the playing field. In these instances, the game will be halted until the person comes back.

If the player is caught still playing although his mask is full of paint, the player is automatically removed from the game. This is considered a form of cheating and will not be tolerated if the referee catches you.

As in all sports, due respect must be given to all the players and the referee. No one is allowed to hit or curse other players. Players should have fun with the game and it should not in any way be a reason to fight. At the end of the day, it is just a game.

You can also ask the other player to surrender if you catch sight of him. If he doesn’t surrender then it gives you the signal to shoot the opponent.

In every game, there are rules we must adhere to. These rules are created for everyone’s safety in playing the game.

How To Retreat When Playing Paintball

How to RetreatWe all get disappointed when playing paintbal but you must realize when it is time to do so. However hurtful it is, there is always a graceful way to execute a retreat. Here is what you can do:

1. Have a Strategy:  If you think that your whole team must retreat, always have a safe area to go to. There should be enough cover in the area to protect you and your teammates. To obtain help , it is a good idea to take cover where you can be close to the other assist team members.

2. Be a Team: Always do things together like work run and fight together. Team power is always the best protection. You can watch each other’s backs you can help the team re-engage when they’re in a safe area.

3.Fire Back: You must all fire back together when you feel that you’re almost in the losing end of the game. You should fire in sync and also with great intensity to recover and re-engage. You can also buy some time for a successful retreat. A few seconds of firing together will buy you time to prepare for a retreat.

4. Move with a Plan: As with every game, it always best to have a strategy beforehand. Knowing what you should all do and where you should position yourselves when retreating is very important to discuss.  In paintball, retreating does not mean that there is no hope for your team. In fact it can give your opponents a hard time. It is easier to shoot at the enemy because it is more likely that they will be running out in the open to chase your team.

End the retreat whle there is still a chance to fight your opponents. Do not wait for your team to lose control before you do so. You can also make a retreat to lure the enemies into a trap. It gives the opponent a feeling that they are already winning and since they will be boldly out in the open, you can attack. Retreating could be used to change station and make an advantage to find a better cover. You can also use it to mess up the strategy of the opposing team.

The Best Weather Condition in Playing Paintball

best weather for paintballIt certainly is enjoyable to play paintball on a sunny day but playing paintball in the rain adds so much fun and challenge to the game.

People play because they love to play, and rain just adds an interesting dimension to the game. Everything is slippery and muddy; crouching, running, and stopping are all harder than they normal; visibility is lower; the rain and wind do strange things to paintball trajectories; and wearing sopping clothes just isn’t fun. In short, playing paintball in the rain makes for a challenging game. Of course, when there’s thunder or lightening, players should clear out of the paintball field!

Here are some guidlelines so you can enjoy your paintball game on a rainy day.

1. Pack your rain gear. A cheap poncho will do especially since it will get muddy and wet anyway so don’t spend too much money on your rain gear. the important thing to remember also is that garbage bags and ponchos tend to bounce of the balls so this is definitely an advantage. Remember to cover your head too so that water will not slide down your face and cause fog on your goggles.

2. Bring paper towels so you can clear your mask when it gets foggy. Don’t forget though that during the game you are not supposed to remove your mask . If you need to, then crouch behind a rock or hide behind something and slid the paper towel inside the mask and wipe it.

3.Cover anything related to paintballs – put plastic wrap over the hopper, put pods in shopping bags, etc. Moisture WILL warp paintballs, which makes them more prone to barrel breaks and ruins their trajectory.

4.Cover a ported paintball gun barrel with a plastic wrap and rubber bands, or use an unported barrel instead.

5. Bring a change of clothes because you certainly will have to change after the game.
