Team Briefing Paintball is game that is loved by many people around the world. The popularity of this sport has only grown since its invention. Paintball is giving tough competition to the traditional favorites such as basketball and football. Everyone whether big or small, boy or girl enjoys this sport. The popularity of this game is increasing with every passing day. This game is perfectly safe when proper precautions are taken by the participants. But there are inhibitions among people even today; there is reluctance and also a fear of losing the game. Let me share this personal incident with you that demonstrates giving encouragement to amateur Paintball players.

My twelve year old son and two of his pals participated as a team in one of
their first paintball tournaments this weekend. Many other players participating in the tournament did wonderful things for encouraging this young team.

There was a moment when the gun used by one of my son’s friends stopped functioning. However, another participant gave his guns so that all the three boys could continue competing in the tournament as a team.

A lot of the referees and participants from the other teams also praised the young team all throughout the day. They also gave tips to the young boys for improving their performance and skills.

The consequence of this encouragement had numerous constructive effects. The young team played better with every game. Instead of getting a feeling of dejection after losing the tournament, they analyzed their strengths and weaknesses. As a result of the motivation received during the previous games, the young team felt motivated to continue playing paintball games. The young team won the final game! They are eagerly waiting for the next paintball tournament after the amazing experience and encouragement received in this tournament.
Are you motivating anyone? It is not important whether you are paintball expert or not in order to provide encouragement to others. You can motivate and encourage anyone living anywhere to play paintball sports. You just have to think the best possible method for doing it. It can be done by becoming a good listener, by using some highly motivating words, through a handwritten note or by providing any help need by the person. It can be anything, big or small, little or more whatever you can do. Someone will surely thank you tomorrow for making their today happy and cheerful.

Through decades paintball has undergone various changes and new methods have come into play for this game. One way of playing this game has two teams trying to capture each other’s flags for winning the game. Each team must capture the flag first in order to outwit the other. Other than this, the game can be won by hitting all the opposite team players using paintball markers.

Originally the paintball was played in a wooded region that was as large as a basket ball court. It was called recreational paintball.

The game is called a scenario if it is played in a big region with lots of people. The biggest scenario was held in 2005 on a 700 acre land in which three thousand players had participated.
The paintball match authorized by the government is called a tournament. While playing a tournament, each team can contain about 3 to 10 players. However, each tournament has its own rules therefore, it is mandatory that the players get well-acquainted with them before participation.

Players are given safety equipments for participating in tournaments. These safety equipments comprise of helmets, chest pads, gloves, and knee and elbow pads. Besides this, the markers are permitted to fire only up to 300 feet per second.

Paintball is getting increasingly popular among people. A research done in 2005 concluded that it is the third most loved extreme game in the world. Do’s and Dont’s When Playing Paintball

Rules in Playing Paintball Paintball is certainly gaining popularity nowadays. While this was intended for fun, it now ranks as the third most popular sport in the world.

There are certain rules that we must follow in playing the game. It is important that we are equipped with the proper gear to protect us from the paintballs.

We must have a complete set of the protective gear and it should always be worn when you are in the playing field. You will need to have a face mask, gloves for your hands, pads for the chest, elbows and knees. In the event that a player is hit with a paintball, he must raise his hands to let everyone know especially the referee that he has been hit. If you’re not sure about it, you can ask the referee and he will confirm if you have been hit or not.

Before going out in the playing field, check your paintball gun. The maximum velocity allowed is only 300 feet per second and anything beyond that may cause serious injury to others. Like any other sport, we must always guard the safety not only of ourselves but our co-players. Barrel plugs should be used to avoid any incident that may lead to firing your gun accidentally and for the safety of all the people who are present in the game.

When a facemask fogs to due sweat, dirt or paint, the player must inform the referee so that he can be taken away from the filed to wipe his facemask or clean it. Do not stay on the field if you don’t have perfect visibility with your facemask. Call the referees attention so that you can be safely escorted out of the playing field. In these instances, the game will be halted until the person comes back.

If the player is caught still playing although his mask is full of paint, the player is automatically removed from the game. This is considered a form of cheating and will not be tolerated if the referee catches you.

As in all sports, due respect must be given to all the players and the referee. No one is allowed to hit or curse other players. Players should have fun with the game and it should not in any way be a reason to fight. At the end of the day, it is just a game.

You can also ask the other player to surrender if you catch sight of him. If he doesn’t surrender then it gives you the signal to shoot the opponent.

In every game, there are rules we must adhere to. These rules are created for everyone’s safety in playing the game.

People play because they love to play, and rain just adds an interesting dimension to the game. Everything is slippery and muddy; crouching, running, and stopping are all harder than they normal; visibility is lower; the rain and wind do strange things to paintball trajectories; and wearing sopping clothes just isn’t fun. In short, playing paintball in the rain makes for a challenging game. Of course, when there’s thunder or lightening, players should clear out of the paintball field!

Here are some guidlelines so you can enjoy your paintball game on a rainy day.

1. Pack your rain gear. A cheap poncho will do especially since it will get muddy and wet anyway so don’t spend too much money on your rain gear. the important thing to remember also is that garbage bags and ponchos tend to bounce of the balls so this is definitely an advantage. Remember to cover your head too so that water will not slide down your face and cause fog on your goggles.

2. Bring paper towels so you can clear your mask when it gets foggy. Don’t forget though that during the game you are not supposed to remove your mask . If you need to, then crouch behind a rock or hide behind something and slid the paper towel inside the mask and wipe it.

3.Cover anything related to paintballs – put plastic wrap over the hopper, put pods in shopping bags, etc. Moisture WILL warp paintballs, which makes them more prone to barrel breaks and ruins their trajectory.

4.Cover a ported paintball gun barrel with a plastic wrap and rubber bands, or use an unported barrel instead.

5. Bring a change of clothes because you certainly will have to change after the game.

Before the game starts, each team must have a meeting to discuss the strategy that they will be doing during the game. They must also know the position and assignment of each member and what they need to do in case they are attacked agressively by the other team. They also need a strategy to ensure that they will not be hit by the enemy and to hit all their opponents so that they will not reach your base and capture the flag.

If every team member is confident and knows how to defend and protect themselves from being hit by the enemy, it will be more difficult for the opposing team to win the game. Each team member must look after each other’s backs and accompany them whenever a member from the opposing team attacks.

As with every game, patience is always an advantage. Being too aggressive and excited might ruin the game for you. Always keep your cool and have a plan that will back up each team member in the attack.Always make sure that you follow your leader’s instructions. One member going the other way can ruin the team’s efforts so always be in sync with your leader and your team members as well. Always stick to your leader’s strategy and instructions.

If you are too concerned about being eliminated it will make it harder for you to attack and hit because you might always be trying to conceal yourself.First of all, paintball is just a game. You are there to have fun and not worry about being eliminated. You can always play it again.

4. Keep moving. Being covered and covering your teammates is vital to your victory.

5. Move down the sides of the course. This gives you a better angle of fire on the enemy to thin their numbers before you run for the flag

6. Make sure that your team has the whole field covered. If you get flanked, you are done for.
Rules are strictly followed when playing paintball. The producer of the tournament is in authority to set or alter rules and oversee the event.There must be a lot of team work involved as everyone moves through the field. Communication in the field is also important. A teammate can shout the position of the opponent. The moment an opponent is sighted, inform your teammates of the location of the enemy.
